This is making the rounds on the World Wide Webs, but this has to be one of the strangest videos I have ever seen. It’s what dreams are made of……bad dreams. It is almost as if you were watching TV Land, decided to drink four bottles of cold medicine right before going to bed… and you had to crank some Beatles to help you sleep.
This is from the Norweigen show “Golden Times” (or simply “Gylne Tider” if you hate English) and it features the strangest mix of celebrities that I have ever seen in my 32 years. It also reinforces the fact that I should never visit Norway……
The celebs are lip-synching to random pre-recorded voices and you can barely hear their own voices in the sound mix. This is simply creepy.
Let’s take a look at some of the “celebs” featured:
- Corbin Bernsen from LA Law! Fuck. It’s like I’m 9 again and Mom’s glued to the TV. The only thing that would make this LA Law reunion better is if….
- BENNY! Holy shit! It is Benny! He’s singing like he’s a member of The Commitments. YES!
- George Wendt. Man. Norm. You look like shit. Did you splash some whiskey on your face to get ready for your take?
- Peter Falk - “So you want me to sing in this? Fuck you. I’ll wave.”
- Dolph Lundgren. ‘Nuff said. He was The Punisher, but not the good Punisher…
- Philip Michael Thomas - Air Guitar was made for Tubbs.
- Oh shit! Judd Nelson just popped out of nowhere!
- Kathleen Turner just smiles and grunts at the screen.
- Right Said Fred?!?! How can they follow this up?
- Oh…. with Rednex. I’m turning this off.
