back in the tumblr groove
So yes. I’m a dick. A dick that doesn’t update his tumblr regularly. Let’s catch up.
- Saw Rilo Kiley at Variety Playhouse. Stil SO in love with Jenny Lewis….especially when she plays a cowbell.
- I’ve been addicted to Bruce Springsteen’s “Magic”. Five Stars indeed.
- Saw Elvis Costello and Bob Dylan. Elvis=Amazing. Dylan=A monotone dragon.
- Saw Stars on Saturday night. Amazing show. A pirate in front of me kept catching all of the flowers. I hated that pirate.
- The Brothers Gore rock train is just gathering speed. We’ve been playing shows galore, and Chris is really a big part of the sound now. Come see us. November 13th is the next show at Caledonia Lounge in Athens w/Nexusnul (Clay and Nick’s band) and Recycled Shotguns.
- Saw Superdrag in Nashville. Out of shows I’ve seen by those boys (somewhere in the double digits)…. this was by far the best. Brandon sings backgrounds now. They seemed so happy and excited to rock. I hope they do more. What the world needs now….is Superdrag.
- I’ve been having a blast with Kristen. Last night, she made the most amazing Pumpkin Pie (from SCRATCH!) I have ever had. And I’m not saying that because I’m biased. I’m saying it because I know pie.
- Speaking of FAT… I’m losing it. I’ve decided that I don’t want to be 30 and still have this weight. So say goodbye to fat sarcastic ass Jason, and hello to somewhat skinny sarcastic ass Jason.
