I remember sitting in the living room on 8th Street, watching MTV with Mom, when MTV News broke in with news of Freddie’s death. I was just starting to REALLY get into Queen….and the news hit me hard. I remember tearing up… especially after watching the premiere of “The Show Must Go On”….which strangely premiered after the announcement of Freddie’s death.....

They claim that they aren’t keeping people from seeding torrents….. but even the Associated Press busted them on it. This is both hilarious and awesome. Fuck Comcast.

I have to admit it. My wife is pretty cool. Despite all of her Bartlett Rock leanings, she does find time to be cool. Cooler than me? Sonicdork? Doubtful. She likes Dashboard Confessional and reads Redbook (she’ll tell you it’s for work……), but she’s still pretty, pretty damn cool. Thanks to my pretty and awesome wife, I’m rocking this shirt at work today....

Nice article on Carbon/Silicon, the new band from Mick (Clash not Foreigner) Jones. Great stuff. You could download their albums from their website for free for about a year… not sure if they’re still up there, but they have a new album in stores right now called “The Last Post”.

There were many neon colored lights. The drums sat 15-20 feet above the rest of the band… but luckily there were runways leading up to it, so the other band members could run up and rock! So many flame pots that even James Hetfield would feel queasy… So was it………. POISON? or was it FALL OUT BOY? Yep. It was actually Fall Out Boy…..and the pyro was hilarious....
